Osbourne Hotel, Edinburgh and McLays Hotel, Glasgow

The project brief was the refurbishment of 2 No existing hotels within central areas of Glasgow & Edinburgh for the Chaudry hotel group. In addition there was a requirement to build a fast food unit in the Edinburgh location.

The Edinburgh hotel introduced many difficulties due to the age of the building and severe flooding issues which were prevalent within the basement and sub-basement areas.

The creation of an extension with a particularly difficult mansard roof design became one of the most dramatic features of the whole project.

The Glasgow hotel was quite straight forward, apart from the complications of trying to maintain operations within the existing hotel whilst work was ongoing.

Projects were delivered on time and on budget.
