• Upgrading of ventilation units
• Installation of generator
• Major electrical infrastructure upgrade
• Major drainage and hot and cold water upgrade
• Extremely restricted working area
• Sensitive co-ordination with all staff teams 

General Infrastructure Projects - GDH

Elements that were managed were as follows:

• Upgrading of air handling ventilation 
• Installation of stand –by generator
• Installation of a water filtration uniit
• Installation of medical gas store
• Installation of replacement distribution boards

Problems that arose were associated with:

• Existing electrical Infrastructure.
• Existing mechanical control.
• Infection control.
• Associated dated mechanical infrastructure
• Maintaining operational aspects within the hospital as a whole whilst works were being carried out

Delicate co-ordination was essential with all hospital management including:

• Facilities
• Estates
• Infection Control
• Theatre operational staff
• Health & Safety
• Fire Advisor
